Dial Telecom expands data centre for critical technologies

Dial Telecom, a leading Czech provider of telecommunications services, has expanded its technology premises in Prague’s CE Colo data centre.

Dial Telecom has expanded its dedicated data centre space by more than 30 m2 and 40 kW, with the new high-tech and secure dedicated space connected to Dial Telecom’s own optical infrastructure.

The newly established data hall will now be used primarily for critical technologies and technologies of major Dial Telecom customers.

In the CE Colo data centre, Dial Telecom now has a separate enclosure of 70 m2 with sufficient power to accommodate the backbone network and other Dial Telecom technologies.

Pavel Kvíčala, Deputy Technical Director and Manager of Construction and Operation of Transport and Access Network of Dial Telecom, said: “The expansion of our dedicated technology centres at DC CE Colo is another logical step to ensure future growth for the company and to meet the challenges of locating new networking technologies while increasing the availability and quality of our services.

“We will use the extended premises of the hall for our own critical technologies and technologies of our important customers for a long time.”
